English Talent-Workshop
Depending on parents’ needs, we offer English teaching in the mornings and afternoons. Children who have reached the age of 5 receive their foreign language development in the Preschool – OGRE.
Our main goal is to make learning English an experience for our children and to give them the confidence to use English in a warm and supportive environment.
We have more than 18 years of experience in integrating a foreign language into early childhood development.
It is a particularly effective method, for children of kindergarten age. Not only because of the knowledge of a second language but also because it increases brain flexibility by learning another language at an early age.
At this age, hearing two languages at the same time enhances children’s development, facilitates their adaptation, problem-solving and differentiation skills, and their natural curiosity about a foreign language.
In our kindergarten, English functions as a communication tool for everyday situations.
English in the crèche
Early English language learning begins in kindergarten and gives the children a stable foundation. This stage of development is the most optimal for getting to know and learning a foreign language. They passively acquire a broad vocabulary and good pronunciation. Some can sing songs and are happy to speak English.
English phrases and songs while dressing up are also a useful way to learn English. Children love to repeat the names of some clothes in English. The older children often help the younger ones get dressed and enjoy using English while doing so.
English in Kindergarten
They continue to learn spontaneously throughout the daily routine of the kindergarten and already try to participate actively. While they experience everyday situations in kindergarten, they playfully hear English and begin to communicate quickly and confidently, as they are not afraid of using the language.
I can tell you from experience that no child is averse to the English language.
English language learning happens naturally and easily through everyday situations, through reading gestures and through social learning.
For the process of language learning, it is essential to involve all their senses, such as seeing – touching – hearing, and even tasting and smelling.
